I understand why people of the Jewish faith don't recognize Jesus Christ. But, your omitting the o in God doesn't make sense. Judaism began with the covenant between God and Abraham and God is recognized as the creator of the universe in your religion. In Judaism, the name of God is more than a distinguishing title. It represents the Jewish conception of the divine nature, and of the relation of God to the Jewish people. To sum it up: it's your work and you have a right to title it as you see fit. As a Christian Catholic I find it insulting to Almighty God.

I read the chapter on authspot, and I seriously don't find the G-d thing distracting. I wouldn't pay too much attention to the people who're squawking about that. It's probably as you say, just a red herring thrown out to avoid the real issues. Great writing. |
