Yes indeed the English language is a tounge twister. It gets more confusing when the meaning of a word from one country differs from American English. All this gives me a headache. Thanks for the great write Reg...!!

amazing how you just turned my blonde hair into refuse that needs to be polished but the geese got in the way of the moose and wound up with the deer or was it dear.... anyway... no need to confuse this one anymore than naturally done. lindalaw

"Ah, what's up doc?", in the parlance of Bugs Bunny. Linguistics, a fascinating subject. Semantics, another fascinating subject. Our language, English, is more than a little complicated. I personally will never, totally master all of its descriptive nuances and proper grammatical applications. I do however remain, fascinated with its communicative sophistication. I've always been grateful I was born in U.S. so grew up naturally speaking English. Sure would have disliked having to learn as a second language :o)
