This take on Aspiring Writers absolutely made my day. A good review might point out at least one outstanding example, but they're all outstanding. However, the one that created an image that matched my lips stretched in laughing was the one about the ballarina lifting her leg like a dog at a fire hydrant.

Yeah, I know. I don't have any class at all. But thanks for the entertainment.

Some were actually very good. This one, "He fell for her like his heart was a mob informant, and she was the East River," would have been perfect for inclusion in the lastest book I am writing., a private eye story set in the forties on this country, a la Sam Spade, etc.
