Each month, one author from the current year's U.P. Notable Book List is invited to speak VIA Zoom meeting. Deborah K Frontiera will be the speaker on May 14, 2026. She will focus on her book, Living on Sisu: The 1913 Union Copper Strike Tragedy, which was named as one of two Classics on the list. Sessions begin at 7 P.M.  Eastern Time (6 Central) and last about an hour. If you are outside the area, contact the Chrystal Falls Public Library and learn how to attend.
