Deborah K Frontiera began her association with the Darwin R Baker Historical Museum in Fredonia, New York, while researching for her latest book, Douglass Houghton, Michigan's Pioneer Geologist, Doctor and Teacher, because Houghton grew up in Fredonia. She spoke several times on the phone and had email contact with the museum's director and received great information as well as a photo of the house Houghton's family lived in. Now that the book is out, she's been invited to speak there about her research and writing process. She will sell authographed copies of her book at the end of her talk.
