"Love to read and write rhyming children’s picture books? Wondering why publishers often say they don’t accept or want rhyming picture books? (Answer: Because they receive so many that contain poor rhyme! Many do want them if they're GOOD.) In this workshop, you’ll explore what makes a good rhyming picture book, looking at structure, narrative, rhythm, stanzas, rhyme scheme, meter, as well as bridge stanzas and non-rhyming refrains to build tension, create humor and/or surprises.
