On Saturday October 1, 2016 The Poetry Society of Tennessee will sponsor the 60th Mid-South Poetry Festival. It will be held at Holiday Inn, University of Memphis 3700 Central Avenue, Memphis, TN 38111.

The featured speaker, Pat Durmon, is a recipient of the Sybil Nash Abrams Award and the Merit Award given by Poets' Roundtable of Arkansas. She has published three poetry collections: Blind Curves, Lights and Shadows in a Nursing Home, and Push Mountain Road. Pat will present a workshop at 10 a.m.

There is a Buffet luncheon at noon followed by Awards and poetry readings by the winners at 1.p.m.
