Harley L. Sachs's collection of children's stories, "A Troll for Christmas and other stories" has been accepted by Zumaya.
Harley and Ulla Sachs's three daughterss each have a story in this holiday collection, "A Troll for Christmas" for Anna-Lena, "The Stars for Christmas" for Belinda, and "The Return of Baby Suzy" for Cynthia. Those are supplemented with columns and essays dealing with the holidays. The book is completed with a collection of new versions of classical fairy tales with a twist. Sachs' intention, as a parent often bored by re-reading the same old stuff tothe kids, is to write stories on two levels, one for the children, another for the parents. A test of a child's maturity is whether they get the jokes in the stories. the illustrations are by a talented Tasmanian artist.
