I was looking through my Writers Digest magazine and I found the perfect advertisement for a writer, like myself.
I hope to be able to share more than the news of it with you soon.
There was an advertisement for the Chicken Soup for The Soul For Sisters book, wanting stories. Having a sister myself, one that I haven't always got on to well with, I had the perfect anecdote.
I emailed it in. I should hear something soon. I am sending in 2 poems for songwriting publishers also. Those will go out tomorrow.
Otherwise I am just trying to get my name out there so that when it comes to get a GOOD publishing company for my book, I'll have some references. It takes a lot of work and dedication though. I have had to try to balance the writing with the kids, house and husband, oh and the cats. But my mind has gotten in gear with writing more and creating more and more. So it is hard to stop once I have started to move on to something else. But try I must! The tolls of a writer...LOL!! It's not as easy as people think it is.
