I have looked and looked for the right job. Something that would benefet me and the family, and after months of nothing......
I got down on my knees, feeling like the world was taking a break on my shoulders. The bills were piling up and things were being shut off. Craig was a mess. Ofcourse due to the season he hasn't been getting enough work of his own. It seemed that I had tried everything and everywhere and came up empty. I couldn't figure out why. I had the qualifications for most of the positions I applied for but I wasn't getting anything.
I was laying in bed about 3 weeks ago, it was about 12:30AM and the stress was unbearable. I kept going over everything in my head and then it hit me like a load of giant red bricks falling on top of my head....
God said,"You haven't tried everything yet. You forgot about me, the most important part of your life and you were doing it all on your own. That's what I'm here for, remember?"
I hit the floor and knelt in front of my bed and did what I should of done to start with. I even told him that he was going to have to put a job right in front of my face or I was liable to pass it by. I went to sleep after I prayed, I was exhausted.
A couple of days later my mom told me about a job that was available and that it was right up my alley. I said cool, and went home and called the person. This person knew of another person. I now work for two magazine publishing companies. I am an Executive administrative assistant and a writer for one of them. I am the only person that works for them-doing the work that I do for them. One is called 'Women Magazine' and the other is 'Kidz Magazine'.
I work directly with the publishers/editors and I really like it. God knew what he was doing. Where else would I fit in so well?! I am very tired and sore and do not want to be sitting at this computer at the moment, but the news had to be spread.
Thanks to all who wished me well and prayed for me. Now I just need the prayers to God asking for help with the adjustment to a day person instead of a night owl. Yikes!!!!
