Interest In Greeting Card Writing Rises As Sandra Miller-Louden is a Guest on Valentine In The Morning out of Los Angeles!
Greeting card interest continues to rise.
This month I was invited on Clear Channel Communication's Valentine In The Morning Show (along with Matt Damon!) to talk about greeting card writing. This show is broadcast out of Los Angeles and reaches 2.5 million listeners in 19 markets.
I helped Val and his cronies write an Easter card--and what else? A Valentine's Day card, of course, in honor of my host's name. They marvelled at how high the pay was for what amounted to a few, choice words, appropriately selected for the particular occasion.
I can't stress enough how this writing genre is still, even today, basically overlooked and underestimated. If you have an interest in writing and don't have a large amount of time to devote to it, you should consider greeting card writing.
I did almost 19 years ago and have never looked back!
