The demand was so high for a print version of The Bully, a story and colouring book about bullies, that the author has produced a print version of the book
The Bully was never indended as a print colouring book. I wrote the story as an e-book that I offered free on my web site. The subject of bullying in schools is such an important issue, I wanted parents and teachers to have the reference available at no charge.
No one was more surprised then I when the requests started coming in from teachers and caregivers across the U.S.!
"I need something in paper to hand my students."
"May I photocopy it and hand it out?"
Then, in late spring of 2004, I received a request from an organization asking to purchase 200 paper copies of the book! It was time to get The Bully in print.
I contacted publisher after publisher and no one wanted to take the project on! Finally, in desperation, I decided to self-publish the book. It was worth the effort! My first sale was the initial 200 and my second was to a local sports team. They want several thousand as handouts for their games!
