Just Dave  here again, ladies and gents.

Yup, I have to revise again. i switched over to rtf and that threw a few new formatting errors in the manuscript that have be hunted down and drestroyed...PLUS(!) stuff that I'm pretty sure I've overlooked that came from me.

I'm beginning to hate the book! The only things that keep me at it are the nearly 3 decades of on-again, off-again work that I have poured into it. Of course, I'm my own worst critic: I find the erros very embarrassing. Actually, when I say I "hate" it, I mean I get so tired of having to read the darned thing over and over again. I still feel it's a pretty good piece of writing...but the flaws drive me up the wall sometimes.

i gave the 2 recent proofs to well-wishers, just to get some more critical feedback.. I hope they like it...

Well, like Chief Dan George said in "The Outlaw Josie Wales", I will "endeavour to persevere".
