I thought this would be an opportune time to take a brief trip down memory lane, and take a look back at a pivotal time in my writing career. For me personally and professionally it proved to be a defining moment in my life. Thanks in part to our publisher; we came together as artists and colleagues briefly for a few days in February of 2004. And within that brief span of time we formed life long bonds that for some I suspect will last a lifetime.
It’s often been said that the measure of a person can easily be defined by the friends he keeps, if that is so then I’m a very lucky man indeed.
Art like life itself mirrors who we are, it defines us, and we can no more separate ourselves from our work, then the life we live…it’s who we are. And like life itself, it constantly changes, redefining itself.
I suspect if I were to write JOURNEY today, it would be a far different book today then when I wrote it. Nothing truly remains the same.
With that in mind I’ve embarked on finding a new publishing home for my current work POSSESSION, while I’ve enjoyed my affiliation with PublishAmerica, I’ve come to realize that POSSESSION should have an opportunity to see how far it can go within a truly national market and with a “mainstream” publisher.
I’m currently working now with brand name authors in New York City, and hopefully within the next 3-months or so I will begin in earnest the task of finding a reputable Literary Agent for POSSESSION.
To my friends, colleagues and fellow PA authors and of course PA, there are many issues today that divide this industry hopefully some day we may all come together without the politics and truly enjoy each others work, without discrimination.
Let yourself take on a sexy adventurous read, walk on the sensual dark side of human adventure through the shadows of your mind. And, challenge your senses of the normal versus the paranormal, and the abnormal. Accept the quest, get onboard and disco
