For those of you who are somewhat suppositious or perhaps (like myself) sensitive to life’s unscripted events, this may gave you pause.
My first book signing event took place several years ago at Barnes & Noble in the “Village” at 8th Street in NYC.
For anyone who’s ever been on stage or has preformed on any level in front of the public this can be a very stressful situation, and for a first time published author who’s never performed in front of an audience it can be a nerve racking event.
Needless to say when I arrived at B&N and saw my poster in the window, announcing the event, a cold chill ran down my spine.
As I continued starring in disbelief at my misspelled name “Amorso”, I asked myself again and again, where’s the “O”? Is this an “O”men?
Of course the book signing event was successful and I did well in my presentation and I sold quite a few books, the photo above simply reminds me how unpredictable life is.
