Mishaps and disorganization were everywhere, and yet I couldn’t help but feel a unique bond to this place, perhaps it was the charm, and mystical feel of the “Roundhouse” a cavernous brick and wrought iron structure with a beautifully designed dome roof. This historical landmark is only one of a several structures still in existence today. Built in the early 1800’s this roundhouse is complete with tracks and a deep circler pit in the center and comes with a few friendly ghosts.
Ghosts?
At least that’s what I was told by the young lady who runs the gift shop within the “Roundhouse”, as we chatted she began telling me of unusual happenings and of spiritual encounters, she had promised to show me photos of human like entities appearing within the wrought iron rafters high above the dome.
Of course this would be the building that we would set up in, and as I realized this, a cold chill ran up by spine, no it wasn’t because I was having a close encounter, but rather because there is no heat in the “Roundhouse”. You see that was one of the many mishaps that we were to encounter; the “Roundhouse” has no heating facilities, unless brought in, and for whatever reason it wasn’t.
