MLK Memorial Library Hosts 2nd Annual Poetry Fesitval

(Washington, DC -Sat. April 23, 2005) Hundreds of Washingtonians will gather in the streets in front of the Martin Luther KIng, Jr. Memorial Library to enjoy the festivitives of the 2^nd Annual Street Poetry Festival. Poet Sistah Joy, author of Lord, I'm Dancin' As Fast As I Can, will again participate in this year’s festival as host of the Children’s Poetry Party at the MLK, Jr. Memorial Library. Sistah Joy, the Minister of Poetry of Ebenezer AME Church, will also share poetry from the main stage. 9^th & G Sts., NW, Washington, DC 20001 (2 – 5 pm) Free.
