My career as an author started because I began to independently publish books that had sat around in my drawer after traditional publishers rejected them. Since then, I’ve been able to have my work sold nationwide, and I’ve been able to do book signings and give talks about my work.

Based on that, I decided I wanted to help other new authors take their manuscripts from their drawers at home to bookshelves across the country. I get hundreds of e-mails each month asking for advice, and thought this blog would be a better way to answer everyone’s questions.
