KTRK, News Houston (ABC News) is featuring author Stephanie S. Sawyer and her work FACING ME on January 7, 2003, 4:50 p.m. and again on Sunday, January 12, a.m.
The features focuses on recovery from shame and stigma after undergoing radical brain surgery for the correction of weekly seizures. Hope and courage are featured as well as breaking the stigma surrounding epilepsy.

Reporter Christi Myers takes Stephanie through the adventure of brain surgery for TV viewers as featured in Stephanie's book Facing Me. Feautured January 7, 2003.
