Ok, well, I am not going to enjoy posting this update but here goes....

In my opinion, the ghostwriter project turned out to be a disaster.  I want to be careful about what I say here because I don't want to get sued, but let me just say, the team (whoever they might be) took the book I wrote for the client, that had literary value, and sent it to someone who, in my opinion, dumbed it down to about a fifth grade level...no I take it back, probably first grade...in one sentence there were eight "and's"...so it is worse than "see spot run."  Is there a fifth grade teacher out there who would accept a sentence from one of their students with eight "and's" without correction or a mark down?

This editor also changed the content against the original wishes of the client as stated to me from the client in a recorded interview, which was clearly communicated in a typed transcript to the team.

Once I saw what the editor did to the book in the last draft given to me before printing, which included adding graphic sexual language, I asked for my name to be taken off of the book. For whatever reason, this request was ignored.  I am embarrassed to be associated with this writing. In my opinion, it's horrible! With the addition of graphic language they can forget marketing to any Christian market because that market has zero tolerance for explicit sexual language.

I have lived and I have learned with this project, and was fully paid to do so.

I do not know what the future holds for this client or his book.
