Gary R. Varner will be at the Portland Annual Festival of the Book, April 23, 2005.
Folklorist/writer Gary R. Varner, author of Essays in Contemporary Paganism; Sacred Wells; Water of Life Water of Death; and Menhirs, Dolmen and Circles of Stone, will appear on April 23, 2005 from 2-3pm at the 2005 Wordstock Book Fair. The Book Fair is a two day event and part of the larger six day Festival of the Book located at the Oregon Convention Center, 777 NE Martin Luther King Blvd, Portland, Oregon.
This free event features over 100 booths representing publishers, authors and bookstores. Over 200 authors will be present to autograph their books, do readings and workshops. Among the authors in attendance will be Dr. Andrew Weil, Jean Auel, Ursula K. Le Guin, John Irving, Norman Mailer, John J. Nance, Craig Lesley and Susan Orlean.
Varner will be at the Oregon Writers Colony booth to autograph his books and invites all booklovers to attend this great event.
