A snippet of “Ode to Wrigley Field” is featured in George Roy and Dutch Productions’ show, Cubs Flicks.

Jill was contacted in October 2022 and recorded her poem, Ode to Wrigley Field, for Stephen DeGroot of Dutch Productions for use in the television show, Cubs Flicks, featured on Marquee Sports Network. The poem airing premieres on Memorial Day (May 29, 2023) and will be re-aired over the course of the baseball season.

Cubs Flicks

Cubs Flicks is a two-part series showcasing never-before and rarely-seen footage of the Chicago Cubs from the late 1920s through the late 1950s, captured by players and fans on 8mm and 16mm film. Inspired by the 1990s HBO documentary When It Was A Game, Cubs Flicks features footage originally acquired as part of the HBO project, working in partnership with the original director George Roy, as well as Stephen de Groot from Dutch Productions. Episode two premieres May 29.
