My book, As the Sycamore Grows, took three top honors in the prestigious Reader Views Literary Awards, announced yesterday. First place in Humanities, tie for first in Memoir/Biography, and first of all genres in Southeast Region (KY, NC, SC, GA, FL, AL). Reader Views presents annual awards to authors of books published by small, independent, and university presses. Criteria for judging are content/originality, presentation/design, innovation, social relevance, production quality, enjoyment/impact, plot/story line, and resourcefulness.
