Sin or iniquity is definitely a part of the human race. From its smallest expression to its most horrific and shameful manifestation. The apostle Paul said “for the mystery of iniquity doth already work:” (II Thessalonians 2:7). It is a mystery and has put the world in chaos from generation to generation. It is a terrible misfortune for mankind; not only does it define our character it also grieves the heart of God and puts us in danger of divine retribution.
What can be done? What is the answer? Actually, there is only one answer: and that answer is “forgiveness”. This book is about forgiveness. The scripture that so wonderfully conveys this truth says “As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us” {Psalm 103:12).
