Well its over, the weeks of planning and spending has come to a end. Just in time! I have to be honest, I didn't do well as far as sales of my books. I am way too underground, not mainstream, unknown, a small fish in a ocean. That said, the positive things that came out of it was that I got to hang out with two really great artist friends of mine Sean Taggart and Danny Hellman. Both were very supportive and helpful (even though they didn't make any $$ either). I also met one of my idols Micheal Golden (he even signed two books for me). I also met Sean Murphy for the first time in the real world (not just here). Both seemed to be doing very well meeting the fans and selling products. In the end I learned a lot, I have a new game plan (very secret- eyes only shit)and came away from the Con truly re-energized and pumped! I hope to be at another local mini con next month. so maybe we'll see if my new ideas and plan have any luck!
