I promised to explore free quality education in USA making use of infotech. My expertise is limited to several branches of Modern Biology, aspects of Indo-US economy/politics, and some aspects of Engineering. I promised a journal that helps/guides education/training in these areas. But too much stuff for free is too much work for me, and then the Bong 'hanglamo' (petty greed) would continue.
Originally I planned writing on Modern Biology and Indian Science. The plan was not convenient for some; moreover I need better access to IISc and IIT libraries. So I had modified my plans.
The first journal would cover Molecular Biology and Biophysics as applied to Biotechnology. As of now I intend to write the study guide/lecture outline for subjects I am already teaching.
The second journal would cover Biochemical Engineering. I might write regularly when I teach Masters' Engg.
I shall primarily use the British Library, and small personal and college libraries, and the material available through the internet.
Let me spit my venom. I used to maintain my journal of important publications in Biotech for personal use since 1989. I stopped doing it because I did not like the Indian mouth-- too much work for free.
My journal in Biochemical Engg. started in 1987, when I was a lecturer at the IIT. After I met Prof. Amitabha Ghosh and his brand of Asst. Prof. in Kharagpur, I stopped doing it.
Recently I liked some students, that's why I am activating my journal. As of now I shall write some key points in my lectures. Then I intend to write the complete lectures and the books. Hopefully I shall end up writing several hundred lectures.
RAW/CIA rats who cannot respect my academic scholarship, priority and the right to print my book, may please be excused from academic bodies (Many professors might have difficulty in proving independence and originality).
