History

The article brings some additional aspects of Herodotus (Greek travel-writer, 450 B.C.) as universal man, scientific observer and philosopher.

Travel up the Nile - with Herodotus, world's first geologist/geographer, 2500 years ago.

This article focussed on Herodotus quality as scientific observer - one among the first in the history of modern mankind. In Herodotus book about ancient Egypt we recognize plenty of poignant scientific approach - thoughts attempting to free themselves from a meshwork of religion and superstition- a process that is still ongoing today!
