I recently (July 2008 ) received a bronze medal and a crystal trophy for outstanding Poetry at the International Society of Poets Convention and Symposium in Las Vegas. It was a great event and I learned a lot meeting other Poets and exchanging views on the craft.
The experience of a young adult trying to figure out what they want to do for employment or education can be overwhelming. My book will give them insight to what it means to be a carpenter. And the progress unions have made in discrimination.
