Across the Pond is a masterfully written story that keeps you spellbound. I stayed up late just to finish the book. The author captures young love, but also shows the painful side of life that so many of our young people are exposed to. This book is a "must read" for every teen and every adult. I just hope there is going to be a sequel...it would be a blimey shame if Fred's plane tickets don't bring him back to Brit!
