Okay, this has been a long time coming! After having gone to the L.A. Writer's Conference, I have decided that I really need to work on my manuscripts a lot! Just taking the lectures by Leslie Schwartz (author of Angels Crest) alone, has made me see what I need to improve. But it was also helpful to get the opinion of other Conferees, too, and I met some nice ladies there who were very helpful. It's always nice to get a fresh set of eyes to read things over! The rogue workshops were very helpful, too. It's rather intimidating to read your work in front of others and have then tell you what they think! But it is always constructive, never destructive.
So, I have been hard at work going over both On the Line (although it has already been published) and Dark Harmony. By working on On the Line, I feel I may have a better chance of seeing that published by a traditional publisher, and I hope someday to see it made into a theatrical movie. And possibly next year at the L.A. Conference, I will be ready to have an agents read it over and critique it, as well as Dark Harmony.
