Det. Clarissa Jones hasn't been lead investigator long for the Gallion, Rhode Island P.D. Just long enough to know her male calleagues would love to see her fail on her first big case--especially her partner, veteran detective Kaz Worozowski. Kaz is a short-timer who does little to helpo and much to hinder Riisa's progress on a real whodunit. Someone killed a young girl and torched the body in a dumspter behind a popular local tavern. No leads, no I.D., nothing other than a charred corpse.
