A charming and sweet sequel to COUGAR LAKE, FROM NOW ON touched my heart many times. The reality of single parenthood and the depth of guilt Cami feels over her past mistakes is a reality all of us feel. The strength she receives from Jason and her faith are tangible, and I could almost feel the relief as they allow God to handle the hard stuff. Jason's reaction to Cami's admissions is exactly how I would imagine anyone would in the real world; as a matter of fact, I know one person that it happened to.
Secondary characters are well integrated into the tale, and the hint of a new tale with Jason's sister, Joni, is something I am looking forward to. With characters that we can all relate to and probably can picture as neighbors, friends and family, FROM NOW ON is a must read.
