I am thrilled to announce the release of my first book, The Libra Solution: Shedding Excess and Redefining Success at Work and at Home. I have spent nearly two decades consulting on the creation of work cultures that support work-life balance and the professional development of diverse employees, particularly professional women. Throughout most of this time, I have also been raising children in a dual-career marriage and managing the day-to-day work and life juggle in close partnership with my husband Bryan. Based on my consulting, extensive research and my own very personal story, I wrote this book to illuminate a different approach to the work-life puzzle, one that is beneficial for women, men, children and organizations!
 
In the book, I provide an alternative to the overwhelmed and overwrought norm which has become the "new normal" for working parents in the 21st century. I explore the unique challenges for professional women, and the increasing struggles for professional men, in combining our intense work model with an equally intense parenting model. I tackle working differently, parenting differently, and creating far more flexible, less gendered models at home and at work. The book provides inspiration and guidance - for individuals and organizations - in creating a more sustainable, productive, and satisfying approach to how we work and live.
