Two Free Cookbooks and a Book of Inspiration for Writers Offered by Carolyn this Season

Both include recipes that inspired scenes in my two books, THIS IS THE PLACE and HARKENING.
The recipes include a 50s recipe for Chocolate Cherry Nut Cake that my mother made and decorated with sparklers for Utah's 24th of July (yes, 24th is correct!) celebration, a mustard pickle recipe passed down from my polygamist great grandmother, a raspberry jam recipe given to me by my grandmother (I based the character of Harriet in THIS IS THE PLACE) on this strong-willed woman and more. There are recipes that inspired many other authors as well as excerpts from their writing and biographies on the writers themselves.
