The story “Finding the Way” is a vignette based on an experience the author had when she visited her octogenarian mother in her hometown of Salt Lake City. A California resident for more than 40 decades, she had not forgotten how to drive the streets of her native city while her mother couldn’t quite adjust to that fact.
