At the beginning of the year, I suffered catrsosphic kidney failure with resultant hypertension that required lengthy hopitilization and on-goiing treatment. After an assessment today, my physician was very direct: The situation is not good. I could quite literally be dead in seconds ahd this would happen with no warning.

Soberting; but it's reality and I can't change it. I will do everything I can and hope for the best. I will also concentrate as much time and enery as I can summon to finish these creative projects. PEREPETEIA is finished beyond some final work on format. STRANGE RIVERS is moving foward; 85,000+ at the moment with a complete path fo also finish this one. I have others, and I will do my best to get these done before I pass on.

UPDATE: STRANGE RIVERS is now finished and posted on my publisher's web site (www.lulu.com/hobopoet) I have also finished ELATION and that has also been posted on the Lulu site. 

I'm currently working on THE JEWEL and it's coming along nicely. I have a rough outline for the story; now it's just a matter of getting the words on the page.
