Literary Criticism

At the beginning of the year, I effectively died...catastrophic kidney failure.

I see myself on borrowed time now. Every day, I try to do the right things the right way. I am also more dedicated to my writing than ever.

I am totally unremarkable as a man. If I have a legacy at all, it's my books. I have several I want to finish before I kick off. There's no other way to do that except to do what Sinclair Lewis advised: "Keep the seat of my paints firmly afixed to the seat of my chair."
