My beautufil dog, Mystic (named after a dog character in my novel, RISING SUN, DISTANT MOUNTAIN) is dying. She's old and very sick. I'm doing all I can but my resources are limited. I have to think about this...euthanizing her.

And it absolutely breaks my heart. Mystic has been my heart-companion, my constant friend (and sometimes my only friend) for more than ten years. And now she soon may be gone.

This is hard...

 Update: There appears no choice. Mystic had a very bad night and today, she urrinated all over herself in my kitchen...and the urine was bloody. I have to face this...do I let her suffer, and she is suffering terribly, or do I end her life. 

Life can get very difficult...
