SO IT SEEMS
It seems quite simple
Now that it’s done;
It’s a gift I can offer
Before I turn for Home.
It seems this brief agreement,
Myself and some wandering spirit
Did turn to my plea, pause,
And deign to hear it.
It’s a gift for you,
But not from me alone;
I will leave it here
Before I turn for home.
