Veterans for Peace is a national organization of veterans opposed to the initiation of military force, especially to interfere with the internal affairs of other societies. The veterans group is an educational and humanitarian non-for-profit organization dedicated to the abolishment of war.

When several Lorain County veterans began to attend chapter meetings, they determined to start a post in Oberlin that meets weekly at noon for free pizzalunch at the Oberlin Public Library, South Main Street, Oberlin, Ohio.
