Dorchester County, Maryland, women's fiction, suspense/thriller author, Theresa Moretimer was named Runner Up in the MARSocial author of the year competition. This was a world-wide online competition with over 160 authors entered. The winner, Karynne Summers, has a chance for her book, Desperate Persuit in Paris, to be made into a movie. 

Ms. Moretimer won the position of runner up with her book, To Hide from Death II: When death comes stalking, and through her continuous tweeting and promoting of her fellow authors.
