I received the news earlier in the day from my friends who went to the Holy

Land Experience in Orlando. It was unexpected. They are still in shock. I

met Alice back in the height of the summer of this year. We were in the

process of helping her to complete a workbook she had been teaching

from.

She was likeable on first meeting. My heart was touched because she was over 70 and still had a dream of producing a book.

 Alice lived her life on a mission. She was the type of woman that when she talked she had something to say. I enjoyed my conversations of faith with her. She possessed an amazing burst of determination. Alice had beat Cancer and when her work had been done, her journey came to an end.
