My short story, "Twin Stars," is now available in the Amazon Shorts program.
They haven't yet posted the bio material or story synopsis but the story can be purchased for only 49 cents. Though I don't expect to get rich at that rate, I see it as another good source of exposure. And, I am flattered to have had my story accepted and running alongside others by such luminaries as James Lee Burke, Dave King and many more well known names.
"Twin Stars" is another take on the old "you can't go home again" theme, about a young man who seeks to recapture the love of a woman he thinks he knows better than he actually does.
Soldier's Gap is a non-traditional mystery with literary elements. The high school principal is brutally murdered, but Deputy Sheriff Dave Jenkins's search for meaning and love is a much more significant theme.
