Fantastic Debut Novel! by Scott in California----Being a big fan of the Western genre, both in book and on film, this book was more than a pleasant surprise. The author has been able to create unique and interesting characters in the typical western roles of good guy, bad guy, and victim. The slow blending of story lines toward the final conflict gives the book a suspense that makes you anxious to read the next page. And her descriptive work made me feel as if I were seeing, rather than reading, about the old west. The book is a must for the Western afficionado, and will delight the romantic and historian as vwell. I will definately be watching for more of Penni Weston.
What A Novel, by Tammy in California---You outdid yourself! I could not believe how I was able to put myself into each character and feel their desires and needs. You are a wonder writer. I cannot wait for the next one!!!
The Best Of The West, by E. Lane Sidmoure---An enjoyable ride in the saddle. Being an enormous fan of westerns in print and on film, especially Kevin Costner movies, this novel takes you along with the lady and the outlaw. It's a real page turner. I could hardly wait to read what happened next. This is ideal for anyone who loves sagebrush and sidewinders, cowboys and Indians. Loved it!
Accidental Outlaw, by Charlotte in Stockdale, Texas---Miss Weston really out did herself. Can't wait for her next book. I got my book on Wednesday and by Friday I had finished it. I could hardly put it down. The book is GREAT. I could put myself in each character's place. A truly good novel!!!!
Wagons Ho! by Ben G. in Colorado---This book is a pleasant jaunt through scenic wild west territory. The characters are believable and interesting. I wish it was longer. I didn't want to see it end. Good work, Ms. Weston. Write on!
The Best Of The West, by D. J. Cunningham---I like this book a lot. It has interesting characters and a great plot line. I recommend it to anybody who enjoys western films or other western novels. I highly recommend this for afternoon reading.
