Japanese publishing giant buys translation rights for Fruit of a Poisonous Tree.
August 02. Japanese publishing giant, Futami Shobo of Tokyo has purchased the Japanese translation rights for Fruit of a Poisonous Tree. The book will be printed in the Japanese language by Futami Shobo and then distributed worldwide. The sale was arranged by Jeanette Lundgren Book-to-Screen-Management of Santa Monica, CA. In addition, several movie producers have shown an interest in bringing this title to the big screen. More on this later.
