Sara receives her first certificate of excellence. As a budding author, this affords the author great pride.
On June 4, 2001, Sara Webb Quest came home to a large white envelope. It was sent from Dana Literary Society, the selective online journal where her poem, "Failure And Success," recently appeared. Upon opening it, she found a thick piece of modern parchment. It was an award. Sara has been published online and off, but had specifically been aiming for some form of written commemoration to back her credits in the wake of her first novel. Stenciled writing announced, "On the 1st day of June, 2001, the Dana Literary Society is pleased to confer this Certificate of Excellence...for the creation of Failure And Success...which has earned both an award and inclusion in the Online Journal of this Society"! At the bottom, were handwritten signatures by the respected journal's two editors.
This is a book of free verse poetry that addresses the seven main tests in life and offers some sensible solutions to passing those tests with minimal discomfort.
