Whether your book is self-published, POD or published in the traditional manner, you, the author, need to take an active role in marketing your book wherever you go.
Even if you've got a savvy agent and a big publisher, you've got to sell a significant number of your books before they will send you on an expense-paid cross-country tour. So you'll need a little guidance and some compelling marketing tools. A good public relations firm can create eye-catching press releases for you. But good PR pros are pricey and often geared to businesses, not writers. And you will need a great sell sheet and media kit, customized to your published project.
Try to find a sample sell sheet online. It's a trick. However, with my one-on-one coaching, I can help you create the press kits that get your book onto bookstore shelves and into the hands of readers. Your dance card will be filled will book signings and author chats. And you'll learn how to create the marketing components that you can use again and again, for each book you write.
