Anti-Bullying Program Set for Liberty Lake Summer Camp

Columbus, NJ July 2004 – Liberty Lake Summer Day Camp is pleased to announce a special presentation of Milton's Dilemma and the Consequences of Bullying by Patricia Gatto and John De Angelis on Tuesday, August 3rd during regular camp hours. Based on their children's book, MILTON'S DILEMMA, this husband and wife writing team tell the tale of a lonely boy's struggles with the school bullies through a dramatic reading, guitar playing, and original songs.

This program addresses the issues in an entertaining, yet thorough and provoking manner. The authors present their story at schools, libraries, and community events in an effort to help children identify and cope with the negative and aggressive behavior of bullying. Their goal is to foster awareness, provide children with an understanding of their rights to a safe and healthy environment, and provide a platform for educators and caregivers to build and enforce anti-bullying policies as they encourage children to come forward and report incidents of bullying.
