If I so infrequently update this site it's because I have a tortuously slow PC and for these last 2 years I have been exceptionally busy
Not only have I had a few new books to bring up to publication standard, but Sarah and I have been taking her prints and paintings based on the Room poems around the West Country here in the UK. Jacobyte Books have also ceased publishing and are transferring many of their titles across to BeWrite Books. My 'End of Science Fiction' has already made the move, with the 'Paths of Error' trilogy to follow. As I was also poetry editor for Jacobyte this also meant me transferring the Select Six site across to BeWrite - and which has been a great success. I have commissioned and we have brought out 3 collections so far - one for Tolu Ogunlesi in Nigeria, one for Renee Sigel in Italy and one for Nana Ollerenshaw in Australia. My own publishing company, Original Plus, has also brought out collections for Albert Rowe, Emma Lee, Chrissy Banks and Paul Lee during this period. Oh yes, and I won the 2004 SKREV prize for science fiction for my novella 'We Need Madmen'.
I've done all that and still I'm so broke I'm scurrying around trying to find casual work to pay the bills.
