I have just finished the rough draft of a new historical fiction novel on the lives and tragedies of Longfellow and Mark Twain.    I plan to go back and edit it after a short hiatus.  It will tell the story of the writing of Longellow's poem which became the song "I head the bells on Christmas day," and its influence on him and Mark Twain.  It will also include a Christmas sermon which I preached last year.   So the whole title will be, "The Christmas Victory, A Gem of A Sermon, all wrapped up in a historical novel."   Look for it in a few months or perhaps sooner, if I'm blessed to have it ready then.
